TLD’s Seely Maintains Momentum With A Fourth-Place Finish

TLD’s Seely Maintains Momentum With A Fourth-Place Finish

Glendale, Ariz. (January 28, 2017) – Troy Lee Designs rider Cole Seely battled hard on a tough and technical track inside University of Phoenix Stadium to come up with a fourth-place finish. His finish helped him remain tied for third in the point’s standings.

Seely narrowly missed the instant transfer from his heat race where he finished fifth, sending him to his first semi of the season where he quickly qualified for the main event. Seely earned another great start and was with the front pack right from the first few turns. He raced in second for almost half the race and eventually settled in for fourth, just off the podium.

“It was a tough race track tonight and I was really concentrating on riding well but not making mistakes,” said Seely. “Fourth isn’t anything to be mad at but after being on the podium last weekend, I really want to be back up there. We’ll see what happens next week.”

Seely will represent Troy Lee Designs next weekend at the O.co Coliseum in Oakland, California on February 4.

Seely wore the LE SE Corsa Orange and White Racewear during practice and then made the switch to the GP 50/50 Red Racewear for the evening. He was also sporting an SE4 helmet. See more of the 2017 gear sets and the 2017 Moto Helmets online and at your local TLD retailer.
