KOROYD®

Koroyd® welded tubes crush uniformly on impact, converting and absorbing more kinetic energy than traditional protection materials while increasing airflow and reducing overall weight.

MIPS®

The MIPS system is designed to add protection against the rotational motion (or kinematics) transmitted to the brain from angled impacts to the head. The rotational motion is a combination of rotational energy (angular velocity) and rotational forces from angular acceleration that both affect the brain and increases the risk for minor and severe brain injuries. MIPS’ added protection system has been proven to reduce the rotational motion when implemented in a helmet by absorbing and redirecting energies and forces otherwise transmitted to the brain.

INCREASED COVERAGE

The Forefront 2 offers expanded coverage and additional Koroyd® panels, increasing the levels of protection on the back of the head compared to the original Forefront.

SUPERIOR VENTILATION

The well ventilated, thermoformed Koroyd® panels ensure consistent, engineered airflow whether riding or stationary. In addition, the Forefront 2 features internal air channels that combine with open intake and exhaust ports to maximize ventilation.

EYEWEAR INTEGRATION

The Forefront 2 features channels on the front and rear of the helmet for eyewear storage, and a three-position visor that rotates high to allow for goggle storage. The AirEvac™ ventilation channels promote airflow by venting fog away from the lenses.
