Created in 1989, Foundation is owned by the Tum Yeto distribution company. They are the sister company of well known brand Toy Machine. Foundation created the world’s largest skateboard, and were written into the Guinness World Records book on October 4th, 2004.

As the name implies, Foundation is it when it comes to Tum Yeto Inc, one of the biggest skateboard distributors in the industry. Started in 1989 by ex-professional skateboarder, Tod Swank, Foundation Skateboards was originally distributed by World Industries with the help of World Industries owner, Steve Rocco. Two year later, Swank moved Foundation Super Co. to San Diego and in 1994 Tum Yeto was born. Foundation Super Co. became Foundation Skateboards, and has been kicking ass ever since. Perhaps the most notable fact is that Foundation has a very clear style or brand, it’s stayed true to its hesh roots through it all. And that wouldn’t have been possible without riders like Corey Duffel, Heath Kirchart, Ethan Fowler, and Leo Romero.
