What started out as a motocross racing teenager named Troy Lee Design painting helmets in his parents garage for his buddies, has grown to become recognized as the premier custom helmet paint shop in the world, and is the place "The World's Fastest Racers" go when only the best will do.

TLD has a passion for riding and racing. Just like you, we're enthusiasts first. We extensively test and evaluate all of our gear, and we are constantly developing new designs that will improve the riding experience and the safety performance of our products. We search for improved materials to establish our gear as superior in design, workmanship, form, and function.

What began as an innocent trip to a sushi bar and a crazy idea, turned into our Supermoto race team! Scott Russel and I were talking about it on the way to dinner one night and it sounded like fun. I called Jeremy and Wardy and we all headed off to Perris Raceway to give it a try – We loved it!

My marketing team worked hard to get the team together in record time, and we haven't stopped smiling since! Honda gave us bikes, Fun Bike Center came on board, Giant RV gave us a rig, Weekend Warrior built us a 26ft. race trailer, and Timex and PPG stepped up to support us.

I think that Supermoto is the next big thing, and right now my team is developing new products for the sport.

We've taken it upon ourselves to refine the whole package with an industry first, environmentally sustainable Bluesign certified approved fabric. And to provide best-in-class airflow and comfort, the Skyline shorts feature an increase in 2-way stretch fabric along the backside. Long praised for its combination of value and performance, the Skyline sees this mix get even more compelling.

CORRECT HELMET SIZING

Each helmet model has small differences in its shape that ultimately affect the fit. For this reason, it is essential to test a helmet before buying it. Test whether it sits on your head properly by putting on the helmet and moving your head to the left and right, as well as up and down while holding the helmet firmly with both hands. If your head can move too freely within the helmet, we recommend that you try a smaller size. If you feel local pressure points, then choose a helmet that is one size larger, or perhaps try on a different model.

Wrap a cloth measuring tape around your head just above your eyebrows and ears. Pull the tape comfortably snug, read the length, repeat for good measure and use the largest measurement.
